maybe I'm one of the oldest fans of Aaliyah, because I'm 53 years old - but it was Aaliyah who said: age ain't nothing then a number !
and I really loved her and it was a very big shock for me when a god the info of her accident and still I must cry when I talk about her,
or when I see her videos in TV and listening her music but one thing I wanna say to everybody no anyone of us can change destiny but
one thing I'm sure: she always will live in us when we watch her videos-movies and listen to her music - with this she'll live in all of us
until the end of time - RIP Aaliyah, so beautiful, so talented to young to die. life can be so hard.

Hey everyone
I bought Aaliyah a card and wrote a long letter inside it..and im buying balloons and putting the letter inside and letting it go..i think that it will be a big comfort for me ...it is so hard for me to deal with her death still..I just want to be able to talk to her..and see how she is. I have been sitting down praying all day for babygyrl..and i will continue to do so into the nite..

Today is a day of celebration and for some sadness. Let us celebrate that we were given the chance to know such a beautiful young lady such as Aaliyah. I hope we all can remember the many memories she has left us. Enjoy the memories and smile. Today of all days is not only the celebration of Aaliyah's birthday but for the many fans and friends of Aaliyah it should also be a day of reflection. At one point or another we should think of what our lives mean to us, are we where we want to be, and most importantly our relationship with friends and family. Before the end of this day tell someone you care about how you feel. Cherish those you love and don't take them for granted. Be encouraged by what Liyah accomplished and know that you are able to do the same. Babygirl of all people knows how much we love her and I am sure she would want us to let someone else know......I've been working on a piece for Aaliyah since December and it's not quite finished but I wanted to share so far what I have.
